Does Hilton allow AI agents?
Source as of
Hilton's own rules for AI agents and automation.
Source: hilton.com · Terms: 2025-10 (month only)
We treat Hilton's robots.txt and site terms as applying to agent sessions, so we report what they say and do not test. §XII bans automated devices 'to monitor or copy' the site; site material may not be copied or republished, so only text verdicts are published. No AI-agent or benchmarking clause found. Nothing has been tested.
- Our testing
- Report-only: we cite public reports and never test agents here
robots.txt: robots.txt disallows /search/, /book/ and /find-hotels/ in the rules for all crawlers (User-agent: *). We treat a user-directed agent session as automated access, so these Disallow rules apply on top of the site terms. Both Hilton tasks are Reported only. We have not verified any results path outside the disallowed paths, and we would look for one only through robots.txt and links on allowed pages, never by opening /search/.
What the site's own pages say
Each line links to the page it comes from. Lines marked as crawler rules come from the site's robots.txt and tell automated crawlers what not to fetch; they are not legal terms.
