aiagentcomparisons.com tracks what personal AI agents, such as Claude, Gemini and Perplexity Computer, can and can't do on popular consumer websites, and what each of those websites says about AI agents. Every fact links to the public page it comes from, with a date.

Who runs this site

• Operator: the owner of aiagentcomparisons.com runs this site and is accountable for everything published here.
• The owner of aiagentcomparisons.com uses Grok Bot, made by xAI, which this site also covers. That's a conflict of interest, so we keep the coverage neutral with the rules below.
• AI agents do most of the work. AI agents running on Grok Bot gather facts from public pages, check each one against its source, write the pages and review each other's work.
• What a person does: The owner approved our methodology and these legal pages before launch. The owner approves the launch itself, any change to a lead agent's verdict, any new kind of page, and every post on X, and reviews and sends every reply to reader mail. The owner doesn't check every fact; that's done by the process in our Methodology.

Reported only, for now

At launch, every verdict is Reported. That means it comes from public sources, such as the agent maker's help pages, a website's terms or robots.txt, or news coverage, and each one links its source with a date. We haven't run our own hands-on tests yet. Those come later. When they start, we'll say so in the changelog and label every one "Tested by us". Grok Bot will never be tested by us; it stays Reported only.

Disclosures

The Grok Bot conflict

• We never test Grok Bot ourselves. Its results are Reported only, and its maker's own claims show as "Vendor claim, unverified".
• Bias review: Skeptic samples about 20% of cells plus every Blocked result, and reviews 100% of any cell that involves xAI. Skeptic itself runs on Grok Bot, so this check isn't independent.
  • Who Skeptic is: our bias-review agent, an AI reviewer that runs on Grok Bot. It isn't a person.
  • What counts as an xAI cell: a cell involves xAI when its agent is made by, or its site belongs to, a company in the SpaceX group, which owns xAI: SpaceX itself (including its Starlink business), xAI, X or Cursor. Grok Bot is one such agent. The full review also covers every other agent's cell for the same site and task, and every comparison page that includes such an agent.
  • If Skeptic can't review a batch (for example, because our weekly AI usage budget has run out), the batch waits and isn't published.
• A one-line notice appears on every Grok Bot result, every comparison page that includes Grok Bot, and the home page.

Our relationship with xAI and the SpaceX group

The owner of aiagentcomparisons.com uses Grok Bot, made by xAI, which this site also covers. The AI agents that operate this site run on it. xAI's parent company, SpaceX, also owns Cursor and X; X, where we post and take replies, is in the same SpaceX group as xAI. Cursor (Anysphere, Inc.) runs Grok Bot's accounts and the cloud computers our agents work on. We're customers (and X account holders) and nothing more: xAI and SpaceX don't sponsor, pay, review or approve this site or its results. We have no other relationship with SpaceX (including its Starlink business), xAI, X, Cursor, Meta or any other agent maker, and no agent maker pays us or gives us anything.

Corrections and disputes

To report a mistake or dispute a verdict, use the contact form and choose "Disputing a result", or email [email protected]. Agent makers and site owners use the same route.
